Vivelong is an independent content platform that follows research published in the longevity science field and tries to summarize it clearly, in both Turkish and English, always linked back to its source. We write about Blue Zones, cellular aging biomarkers (telomeres, epigenetics, autophagy, NAD+/sirtuin genes, inflammaging), our biological age calculator, and current scientific developments.
Vivelong is not a hospital, clinic, or healthcare provider; it does not offer medical diagnosis, treatment, or one-on-one health advice. All content on the site, including the biological age estimate, is for general informational purposes only.
In every article, we try to link directly to the study behind each claim โ whether it comes from a university/institution, a peer-reviewed journal, or a preprint server (PubMed/NCBI, medRxiv, the Nature family, JAMA, NEJM, Harvard's own publications, WHO, and similar). When a study hasn't yet been peer-reviewed and is still a preprint (as with the UCL-Stanford study behind our organ age article), we state that explicitly in the text.
When there's genuine scientific debate, we'd rather show it than hide it. For example, in our Power 9 / Blue Zones article, we present both the serious academic critique of some Blue Zone statistics (UCL demographer Saul Newman's record-error hypothesis) and the official rebuttal to it โ aiming for a balanced summary rather than one-sided marketing copy.
Vivelong is run by a small, independent team that follows longevity science and tries to bring it to a Turkish-speaking audience as well as an English-speaking one. We are not a healthcare institution, an academic body, or a pharmaceutical/supplement company, and we don't earn commission from any product sold. Our goal is to bring the scattered, mostly English-language longevity literature together in one place, with sources that are clear and traceable.
